What Back means during a COME download journey

The Back action depends on the screen you are in. It can leave a webpage, dismiss a prompt or leave an app screen without completing the underlying task.

In the browser

Leaving a page does not necessarily cancel a transfer. Check Downloads to establish whether the file is pending, failed or complete. Reopening the page and pressing Download again can create duplicates.

In the installer

Dismissing or cancelling a prompt may leave the installed app unchanged while preserving the saved APK. Read the result rather than assuming installation finished. Resolve any reason you cancelled before reopening the file.

In the opened app

Going back from a sign-in or help screen does not submit a request or recover an account. Keep track of what the interface actually confirmed. A visible previous screen is not proof that the latest action succeeded.

A useful next step

Resume from the last confirmed checkpoint rather than repeating every prior step.
